LingoHub
LingoHub is a startup company from Linz, Austria, which was founded in 2012. Their vision is to make universally human translation available for all digital contents.
Project Aim & Plan
The purpose of this project is to extend the existing LingHub Translation application with a new service called LingoHub Office (LHO), which is specially built for translators to simplify the translation process.
The project follows a User-Centred Design (UCD) process, which was broken down into the following phases:
Project Scope
Due to the scope of the project the design focused on the onboarding and communication features of the LingoHub Office (LHO). The key screens of the platform were created and are represented in the prototype.
- User classes & personas, to specify the user needs
- Workflow diagrams, modelling the integration with the LHT service
- Use case diagrams, illustrating the behavior of the application
- Wireframes, which cover the key screens of the LingoHub Office interface
- Mid-fidelity Prototype, including important functionalities to get early user feedback
